2 lbs little onions, peeled
3 tbsp melted butter
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp sherry
1 egg beaten
salt and pepper
dash of nutmeg
Boil onions about 10 minutes.
Put in a buttered baking dish with cream, sherry, and beaten egg, well mixed. Top with salt and pepper, shake of nutmeg.
Bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes until golden on top.
