2 large-ish onions sliced
2 lb Stewing steak cubed
1/2 lb mushrooms (optional)
1 bottle Guinness (or other stout or porter)
Saute onions.
Toss meat in seasoned flour (salt, black pepper, mustard powder and paprika) then brown in with onions.
Add Guinness and allow to simmer gently until done.
Serve with... mash, rice, noodles, crusty bread or other carb if doing and veggie of choice.
